Support scaffold removal must follow the sequence specified by your structural engineer — typically the reverse of the erection sequence, with load gradually transferred back to the permanent structure as each prop is released. We never remove support scaffold without confirmation from your engineer that the permanent works have reached the required strength or cure time. Yes — raking support scaffold is used to stabilise walls that have moved or are at risk of further movement, providing lateral restraint while permanent repairs are designed and carried out.
